Never work with animals or children, especially when there’s a photographer on the loose. That’s a harsh lesson for Britain’s next in line to the throne who has become the subject of a priceless new meme.
An unfortunate snap caught HRH Prince Charles dodging the advances of a rogue bird of prey whilst on a visit to the Sandringham Flower Show on Thursday.
Naturally, the internet responded with glee.
The hashtag #PrinceCharlesBeingAttackedByThings soon caught on with users posting photos of the Prince dodging a twerking Miley Cyrus among other fearsome photoshops.
The joke turned political, and one user photoshopped the Prince trying to avoid a stern-looing Nicola Sturgeon, the formidable leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP).
He is also seen in a helpless battle with Sturgeon’s predecessor Alex Salmond, where another user has recreated the obscure photo of Salmond feeling a woman an orange Solero ice-cream, which became a popular meme after the Scottish independence referendum.
Other photoshops of the Prince are as frightening as they are inexplicable.
Poor Charlie.
