Keanu Reeves joins the shadow cabinet? Confusion as actor pays UK parliament surprise visit
Just when MPs and parliamentary staffers thought the week couldn’t get any more surreal, what with Brexit, the PM resigning and Labour tearing itself in two, non-other than Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves walked right into Parliament.
As you’d expect, MPs and journalists, not to mention the Portcullis House staff, went into complete meltdown, and hundreds of selfies including the Matrix star quickly began to choke social media feeds.
Reeves was reportedly in parliament to lobby the government on film production.

That didn’t stop the Twittersphere from speculating on whether Reeves intended to run for Labour leader, however, with some even speculating that he planned to take David Cameron’s place as prime minister.
