Firefighters battle huge blaze in Kent (PHOTOS, VIDEOS)
Up to 35 firefighters battled a blaze at a disused sports complex in Kent, southeast England on Tuesday.
The huge fire engulfed the building on around 6:30pm. Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed to local media that six fire engines were sent to battle the blaze.
Emergency services urged those nearby to keep all doors and windows closed as huge plumes of black smoke billowed from the complex. Residents were evacuated from approximately 50 homes in the area.

The disused leisure centre is close to a number of houses but it is understood there has not been any spreading of the blaze outside the complex.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
