One of four students wounded in a Washington State high school shooting has died, according to hospital officials.

Gia Soriano, 14, has been in critical condition since she suffered a head wound during the attack at Marysville Pilchuck High School.
Soriano's injuries were extensive, and despite the hospital's best efforts, they could not save her, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Joanne Roberts told AP.
"We are devastated by this senseless tragedy. Gia is our beautiful daughter and words cannot express how much we will miss her," her family said in a statement, as quoted by ABC News.
“We’ve made the decision to donate Gia’s organs so that others may benefit. Our daughter was loving, kind and this gift honors her life,” they added.

Another victim, Zoe Galasso, also died in the shooting. On Sunday, a candlelight vigil was held to mourn her.
Three of the victims remain in hospital, two of them in critical and one in a serious condition.
Authorities identified the attacker as 14-year-old Jaylen Fryberg. He shot five people before killing himself.
The shooting was from a .40-caliber gun, which was recovered from school following the attack. The gun was legally purchased, though Marysville police didn’t specify by whom.
The teenager was a member of a prominent local family, and according to state Senator John McCoy, he was highly regarded in the area.
Fryberg’s motive is still under investigation.
