A single-engine passenger plane crashed and caught on fire after the pilot aborted a landing at the Timmerman Airport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, local media reported.
At least two people have been confirmed dead, according to local TMJ 4, which cited the Milwaukee Fire Department.
Firefighters are currently working to put out the blaze. Local WITI reported that officials at the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office confirmed it had crashed before the fire started.
So far, it's unknown how many travelers were onboard.
Before the fire was reported, the pilot called in a "go around," which indicates "that an approach or landing is not working out," according to the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel.
According to a local NBC reporter, a medical examiner stood by as the flames were doused.
