Ferguson police chief’s 'we want to be patient as possible' comment upstaged by gunshots (VIDEO)
Rather embarrassingly, at the moment Ferguson's acting police chief, Andre Anderson, was telling CNN reporters that police “just want to be as patient as possible,” some 20 shots are clearly heard in the background. The clip of the incident clearly shows the police chief was shocked, as he looked away when the shooting began.

According to St. Louis County police, a law enforcement officer was involved in a shoot-out after coming under heavy gunfire in Ferguson on Sunday evening, following a day of commemoration events on the anniversary of Michael Brown’s tragic killing.
