One person reported killed at pipeline explosion at Williams Gas Plant in Louisiana

A pipeline exploded at a natural gas plant in Gibson, Louisiana on Thursday morning, killing one, authorities confirmed to local media.

Residents living near the Williams Field Services natural gas plant were advised to evacuate or stay inside their homes, according to a local CBS affiliate.
Authorities have arrived on the scene, and fire and medical services, according to HoumaToday.com.

The explosion occurred around 11:15 a.m. local time.
