Police in Ohio are trying to track down a bald suspect after almost $850 worth of hair growth formula and memory supplements were stolen from a pharmacy.
Mount Healthy police in Hamilton County posted surveillance images of the hairless suspect on Facebook along with photos of the empty Rogaine boxes in an attempt to find the bald bandit.
Police believe the man also stole boxes of the brain health supplement, Prevagen.
Police say the suspect stole $847 worth of products from the Walgreens on Hamilton Avenue in Mount Healthy as well as similar thefts in North College Hill and West Chester.
"We're scratching our heads at this, no pun intended, trying to figure out what it is about the Rogaine," Mt Healthy detective Chris Jones told WCPO Cincinnati.
Some online users pointed out that the Rogaine obviously wasn’t exactly working its magic on the suspect.
”He should demand a refund. It doesn't appear to be working,” one woman quipped on Facebook.
However, Detective Jones pointed out police believe the products are not actually being stolen for personal use, but are instead being resold online.
