‘White powder’ incident at NY federal building - report
Hazardous material teams and emergency service units are responding to an incident at New York City’s government complex, where two people were exposed to “white powder,” NYC Fire Wire reported.
The New York Police Department confirmed to RT that they did receive a 911 call, but could not provide any further information.
When reached for comment, the city’s HazMat department told RT they were not aware of any emergencies at this time.

The Jacob K. Javits Federal Building at 26 Federal Plaza houses the offices of Department of Homeland Security, FBI’s New York City field office, the Social Security Administration and the US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
