Trump declared winner in North Carolina
Donald Trump was declared the winner in North Carolina, with 51 percent of the vote to Hillary Clinton's 46 percent, with 90 percent of precincts reporting, according to the Associated Press.
This battleground state adds 15 electoral votes to Trump's tally. To win, a candidate must secure 270 electoral votes.
