Nacho-cradling Chris Christie sends internet into meltdown after confronting baseball fan (VIDEO)
Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie is setting Twitter alight after engaging in an intense faceoff with a Cubs fan at a baseball game in Milwaukee – all while maintaining an iron grip on a bowl of nachos.
Christie, whose son works for the Brewers, was caught on video confronting a heckler at the Cubs versus Brewers game on Sunday.

Footage of the Republican governor’s encounter with a Cubs fan shows Christie telling the apparently unfazed supporter that he’s a “big shot.”
The man, identified as Brad Joseph, told WISN 12 NEWS that the confrontation occurred after he yelled Christie’s name and told him that he sucked.
“I called him a hypocrite because I thought it needed to be said,” Joseph said. “He then turned around and walked all the way back towards me and got up in my face for what seemed like a long time, but was probably only about 30 seconds or a minute."
Joseph claimed Christie was close enough to make contact with his knee and asked if he wanted to "do something" and "start something."
The incident quickly became an internet meme with many social users impressed by the former presidential candidate's commitment to his bowl of nachos during the debacle.

In 2014, Chris Christie's nacho game was basic, uninspired.

And don't ever again question Chris Christie's humanity after seeing him cradle those nachos like a mother primate cradling its young.

Of course this isn’t the first time Christie’s actions inspired a viral meme. Earlier this month a photo of the governor sunbathing became the butt of jokes on Twitter.

Just two weeks ago, Christie came under the spotlight at another baseball game after he caught a foul ball and was booed loudly by the crowd.
