Actor Alec Baldwin was caught on camera being confronted by a journalist in the aftermath of a widely criticized interview in which he said he hadn’t fired the gun that killed a cinematographer in October.

When New York Post reporter Jon Levine ran into Baldwin on Manhattan’s Upper East Side on Monday evening, he attempted to question the Hollywood star about the tragic shooting that had resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of ‘Rust’.

After Levine asked Baldwin what had brought him to New York City and who he was meeting, Baldwin stormed at the journalist while holding an umbrella, as his wife asked Levine to leave them alone and kept her husband back.

Just before Baldwin was admitted to the house to which he was waiting to gain entry, Levine again asked the actor whether he really hadn’t pulled the trigger, as he has claimed. Baldwin did not respond.

The house appeared to be the home of controversial director Woody Allen, who has been the subject of much negative media attention himself over the years. Allen was photographed by the paparazzi leaving the same house in February after a bombshell documentary featuring abuse allegations made by his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow went viral.
