“The kids are the future, so I focus on helping them to survive modern day difficulties,” told RT hip-hop artist AKIR, whose name stands for Always Keep It Real.
AKIR has said the Afro-American community is still waiting for Obama’s promised change.
AKIR says Americans live in a police state and the main reason for this is business and money.
“The more beds that are filled in prisons – the more prisons are built. From the judges to the politicians, to actual cops – they all collectively have incentives to fill those beds.”
AKIR believes that business is triggering the sense of fear in American society. He says that “The people who are on the top financially from the sense of power and resources need [other] people to be in fear so that they are dependent on the power that [the businessmen] provide.”
