“US could just want Russia to become unfriendly towards Iran”

It’s possible that Russia will receive some official offer from the US, but another scenario is that it was done to sort of provoke Russia to define its status towards Iran, political analyst Mikhail Troitsky said to RT.

Earlier the US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said at a Senate hearing that he doesn’t rule out that the anti-missile radars may be built in Russia.
