An amazing video of a man flyboarding in a wheelchair powered by a water-blasting jetpack is breaking down barriers in the most impressive of ways.
The video produced by French accessibility guide Jaccede.com shows a man making fantastic twists and turns above the water in a wheelchair, before climbing out and revealing his prosthetic leg.
The group’s app was launched in 2010 as a collaborative citizens’ movement offering an online directory of accessible public places for people with disabilities.
Jaccede.com published the video in recognition of the hundreds of new locations added to the guide last month and has shared a series of videos pushing the limits – proving that a disability is no barrier to experiencing adrenaline-pumping adventure.
This jaw-dropping video posted under the title “Mermaid in a wheelchair” shows disabled British artist Sue Austin floating through shoals of fish, exploring the ocean floor while seated in a battery powered wheelchair.
The non-profit organization has won a number of awards for its work, including the Google Impact Challenge France.
