Millions of Americans find themselves at the mercy of Mother Nature once again as the geographically-cursed Tornado Alley deals with an onslaught of violent storms this week.

Residents from the Gulf of Mexico to the Midwest are frequently on alert - and when the siren sounds for an incoming tornado, folks deal with it in different ways.

Heavy rain and strong winds hit a number of states, even those outside of the usual corridor of destruction, with this video from the National Weather Service showing how the storms advanced across the country.
