A Pennsylvania man has been arrested after admitting to breaking into a barn and having sex with a miniature horse.
Travis Wagner, 21, told police he had raped the same horse on several previous occasions.
The horse's nightmare finally came to an end when police received a call from Leon Burkholder in West Cocalico Township, who witnessed a man breaking into his barn, according to Penn Live.
Using his license plate number police traced Wagner to his home, roughly six miles from the barn.
In the police report, Wagner admitted to “inserting his penis into the miniature horse for approximately 10 minutes”.
The horse is said to be in a stable condition.
This wasn’t his first rodeo, telling police he had had sex with the horse “at least two previous times” in the same barn.
He was arraigned earlier this week and charged with burglary and sexual intercourse with an animal before being released on $5,000 bail.
If convicted of burglary, Wagner could face up to 10 years in prison, a much stiffer penalty than the two-year maximum for ‘riding’ an animal.
While bestiality is illegal in Pennsylvania, 14 US states and the District of Columbia have not outlawed cross-species hanky-panky.
In Florida, where sexual intercourse with animals is classified as a misdemeanor, a woman made a public plea earlier this year to a man who was repeatedly raping her goats to “leave my goats alone”.

A loophole in Florida’s law, similar to Canada, allows for oral sex with an animal.
