Seal on the loose: Tasmanian police search for runaway animal (PHOTOS)
Tasmanian police have issued a warning about a large seal roaming a suburban neighbourhood in the northern ton of Newstead, posting photos of the runaway animal jumping on cars.
“Tasmania Police and Parks & Wildlife are currently working to secure and relocate a large seal that has made its way into suburban Newstead,” the message posted on Facebook said. It warned that the seal should not be approached.
It is not yet clear where the animal escaped from.
