‘Buddhist monk’ watching x-rated film on bus goes viral
A man decked out in Buddhist monk attire has found himself going viral after being filmed watching an x-rated video on a bus in Thailand.
The incident was filmed by Wittawat Wonghajuk as he traveled from Loei in the northeast of the country to his home 100km (60 miles) away in Nong Bua Lamphu Saturday.

Wittawat said that he heard “sexual noises” coming from the back of the bus as soon as it left the station and was “shocked” to find that a man, who appeared to be a Buddhist monk, was entertaining himself by watching explicit videos.
"Help me share this clip. I can't stand this,” Wittawat said in a post on Facebook along with photos and videos of the incident.
The footage shows the ‘monk’ watching an x-rated film on his phone, with loud gasps and groans from the video audible to those seated nearby.
More than 1.6 million people have watched Wittawat’s videos since Saturday. Many commented on the post to express their disgust, while some questioned whether the man was a genuine monk.
Monks are highly respected in Thailand, something Wittawat said discouraged him from confronting the man.
