In the wake of the terrible incident that claimed 22 lives and injured dozens more, residents of Manchester have been offering free rides, space to stay overnight and other help to their compatriots affected by the tragedy.

Shortly after the news of the explosion broke, the Victoria train station was shut as a precaution, leaving hundreds of almost 21,000 people attending the venue stuck in the center of the city.
Locals quickly mobilized under the hashtag #roomformanchester to offer those in need a free ride or a spare bedroom.
Taxi drivers have also reportedly been offering their services for free.
A local Holiday Inn hotel reportedly sheltered some 60 youths who got separated from their families and friends amid the chaos that erupted following the blast.
