Burger King offering green burgers in Saudi Arabia
The fast food chain Burger King is offering customers in Saudi Arabia green hamburgers. The burgers are the color of the country's flag, and commemorate the 83rd anniversary of the kingdom on September 23.
This is not the first time the company has changed the colors of its burgers.
In Japan, Burger King offered burgers on red buns, with red cheese and red hot sauce made from miso and hot pepper. The color was achieved by adding tomato sauce. On the menu in Japan you could also find a black burger. Its bun is colored with bamboo charcoal, and squid ink is added to the ketchup.
