The men were inspecting a house that officials say was damaged in an Abkhazian attack overnight.
Speaking to RT, Abkhazia's President Sergey Bagapsh denied his country was behind the violence.
“As for what is happening on their side, it’s their own business, and let them handle than on their own. Our special forces are on alert, but they are just monitoring the situation, nothing more,” he said.
