In KHL, Ak Bars has beaten Dynamo Moscow in its semifinal best-of-seven series and now needs just one win to move to the final.
Both Ak Bars and Dynamo were aiming to gain the upper hand in their Kontinental Hockey League semi-final series, which was level at two wins apiece.
However, this time there was no parity on the field – Ak Bars fully used its home advantage and destroyed the opponent 3-0, leaving Dynamo very few chances.
Dmitry Obukhov, Nikita Alekseev and Dmitry Kasionov were Kazan’s heroes on Wednesday.
The series now moves to Moscow with Dynamo having no backing room.
