The Russian embassy in Sweden says it is waiting for official word from Swedish authorities about the incident.
“We are satisfied with the fact that Swedish special services have managed to trace three persons who were transferring arms and explosives. We are awaiting detailed information on their citizenship from the Swedish side,” said Anatoly Kargapolov, spokesman for the Russian embassy in Sweden.
The incident only confirms the validity of Russia’s warnings of the danger of international terrorism, he added.
