Police have detained 22 people in connection with a series of arson attacks that have swept the Russian capital. Most of the arrested are teenagers.
Since the end of May, Moscow police have opened 96 criminal arson cases and in the last three weeks, 53 cars have been found burnt out.
In a separate arrest on Monday, two other suspects detained by Moscow police admitted deliberately setting cars alight.
Police believe that most of the car arson incidents were revenge attacks on the vehicle owners.
