Australians pull out of Davis Cup

Australian Tennis Federation officials have confirmed that the country won't send its players for their Davis Cup tie to India - due to concerns over security.
The Australians had appealed for a change of venue after the ITF said, last week, that Chennai was approved by the Davis Cup Committee, but the appeal was rejected.
Concerns about security in the region increased after terror attacks in Mumbai last November and a recent attack on the Sri Lanka cricket team in Lahore.
