Russian investigators will probe into the death of a British national killed in Russia. Police say Ms Pamela Crane was found dead in a forest in the Moscow Region with a rope around her neck.

The 72-year-old was last seen at a Moscow hotel at the end of May, before setting off to a monastery north-east of the capital.

The search for her began with the help of Interpol as soon as she was reported missing.

British Embassy officials say the woman's body is yet to be formally identified.
