Bus accident in Siberia kills eight

Eight people were killed and 37 others injured when a passenger bus overturned at full speed in the Novosibirsk region early on Monday. The driver confessed he had been talking on a cell phone at the wheel at the time.
Eight people of those hospitalized are in a grave condition, Itar-Tass says.
The passenger bus was heading from the city of Tomsk for the Yarovoye resort city. The accident happened near the Ordynskoye settlement on the Novosibirsk-Pavlodar highway.
A criminal case has been launched into the accident.
Investigators are continuing to question the driver.
