Chemical Ali to hang

The man who ordered the use of biological weapons on thousands of Kurds in Iraq will be hanged. The execution of Ali Hassan al-Majid, known as Chemical Ali, will happen any time from now, within the next 30 days, as the Iraq's Presidency Council approved
The cousin of Saddam Hussein used the weapons in the 1980s, most notably in Halabja in 1988. Five thousand people were killed there.
The Council's approval removes the last obstacle to al-Majeed's execution.
