Chirac gets top Russian gong
Published 20 May, 2008 07:25 | Updated 20 May, 2008 11:25France’s former President Jacques Chirac will get Russia's State Award for Humanitarian Activities. He was named as one of the winners of the Russian Annual State Awards 2007, just announced at a ceremony in Moscow's Kremlin.
The ex-President Chirac knows the Russian language and is a connoisseur of Russian Art and culture.
The Award Ceremony will take place in Moscow's Kremlin on June 12 – Russia's National Holiday.
