Chirac gets top Russian gong

France’s former President Jacques Chirac will get Russia's State Award for Humanitarian Activities. He was named as one of the winners of the Russian Annual State Awards 2007, just announced at a ceremony in Moscow's Kremlin.
The ex-President Chirac knows the Russian language and is a connoisseur of Russian Art and culture.
The Award Ceremony will take place in Moscow's Kremlin on June 12 – Russia's National Holiday.
