escue workers have found the body of a pilot who died in a helicopter crash in the Baltic Sea in Russia's Leningrad region. Work is now underway to lift the wreckage out of the water.

The helicopter, which belongs to the Russian company Baltic Airlines, crashed into the Gulf of Finland on Saturday.

Four of those on board were rescued, one passenger and a second pilot were injured and had to be taken to hospital. Two other passengers escaped unharmed.

A criminal investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the crash, though pilot error or engine failure have been suggested as the most likely reasons.
