All four Russian tourists stranded in the Himalayas after heavy snow have been rescued. They were among about a hundred climbers who went missing on Friday after their satellite phones went down. At least one climber was killed.

One of the rescued Russians – a woman – remains in a critical condition.

Further snowfalls are hampering rescue efforts and forecasters are expecting yet more blizzards over the weekend.
