Drug buster in trouble over phone tapping

The Moscow City Court is considering a protest by the Prosecutor General's Office against the arrest of a high-ranking drug control officer. Lieutenant-General Aleksandr Bulbov from the Drug Trafficking Control service was detained in Moscow at the beginn
The Prosecutor General's Office and Bulbov's lawyers demand he be released.
Earlier, a Moscow court ruled that the officer be put in custody so as not to eliminate evidence or put pressure on potential witnesses.
Several other officers from the service are also facing the same charges.
