The European Union and Russia may resume negotiations on a new partnership deal on December 2, according to the head of the European Commission's office in Moscow.
Mark Franco said that the working group, that includes members from both sides, will meet as early as this week. The talks on a basic treaty were earlier blocked because of the European Union concern’s over Russia's participation in the conflict in South Ossetia.
In the course of the last week's Russia-EU summit in Nice, however, the parties decided to restart the process.
