False fire alarm on ISS

There was a nine-minute panic in the depths of space when the fire alarm on the International Space Station went off. The station crew began emergency procedures, but stopped when they found no smoke or fire.
Astronauts quickly determined it was a false alarm.
Experts say the problem may have been caused by a software defect.
