Three people have been killed and five injured in a fire at a 12-storey apartment building in south-east Moscow.
Firefighters rescued twenty people from the blaze which started on the 9th floor.
The bodies of two women were found on the same floor, while another died jumping out of a window trying to escape.
Eight apartments were destroyed.
A gas leak is thought to have been the cause, though officials say a recent inspection gave the block a clean bill of health.
