Moscow police have arrested a gang of three deaf, mute, gay prostitutes after they robbed a client who didn`t pay them all the money he owed.

After meeting in a nightclub and arranging terms, the men went to a café near a central railway station for a drink but the client, who is also deaf, refused to pay for their services, falling asleep instead.

The three suspects are said to have stolen their client’s mobile phone, passport and wallet as compensation.

The police arrested them for questioning and believe this might not be the first time they've committed such a crime.

Viktoria Vrazhbitskaya, Press Secretary of the Russian Transport Police, said “Transport police are now looking into claims that these young men have been involved in similar crimes, since there are reasons to believe it was their way of making their living.”

The men, aged 18, 19 and 20, apparently work together, visiting different clubs to pick up punters.

For other men out taking advantage of the thriving gay scene here in Moscow there is a simple message – beware!
