Three thousand computer geeks have decided to forego their keyboards and screens for the annual System Administrator Camp in central Russia, hosted in celebration of the unofficial “System Administrator Day”.
All sorts of competitions are scheduled to take place during the weekend, starting with keyboard and mouse throwing to performing weightlifting with computer screens replacing the weights.
Aleksandra Salova, who hurled her keyboard with noticeable zeal, said that the camp, which has become a tradition in recent years, is a good place to relieve stress.
“Throwing your keyboard really lets out the pressure,” Aleksandra said.
“When you spend your whole life in the office and there are always users complaining, you sometimes just want to take the keyboard and smash it.”
The whole event seems to be a good opportunity to get rid of all that stress, which would definitely be impossible somewhere at work.
