In Russia, HIV-positive people are discriminated not only by society in general, but also at healthcare institutions, said Doctor Denis Broun, regional director for the UNAIDS support team for Europe and Central Asia.

Fighting the spread of HIV and AIDS in Eastern Europe and Central Asia is the focus for 50 countries who are gathering in Moscow today.
