Mine explosion kills two in southern Russia

Russia’s Interfax news agency reports that a methanol blast has rocked a coal mine in the Rostov region in southern Russia.
The agency quotes a source in the local rescue service as saying two people were killed in the accident.
All the other miners are reported to have been brought safely to the surface.
