Moscow one step from hosting first Youth Olympics
Published 21 Jan, 2008 21:43 | Updated 22 Jan, 2008 00:43Moscow and Singapore are the two cities left in the running to host the first ever Youth Olympic Games.
The International Olympic Committee whittled down a shortlist of five cities – Turin, Bangkok, Moscow, Athens and Singapore – to two, deeming that Moscow and Singapore are the areas to present the least risk in terms of safety and ability to raise funds.
The winner will be announced on February 21.
