Rescuers in Russia’s north-western city of Murmansk have faced an unusual ‘emergency situation’: a goat – an animal not often encountered above the Arctic Circle – has disturbed the everyday life of local residents.
The animal was seen peacefully strolling the streets. But some children – who had never seen this kind of species before – were frightened by this dangerous-looking beast.
However, after being caught and brought to a vet's clinic, the goat turned out to be quite good-natured and posed no threat whatsoever.
It was later discovered that the goat had escaped from local stables.
The runaway has been returned to his owner.
