Mystery of fake 'Russian' poaching ship caught in Norway

Norwegian coast guards have detained a ship over alleged fishing violations. The vessel, Nemansky, had fake Russian documents.

The ship will be handed over to the police, who will investigate the case.

“Nemansky is not a Russia ship, as we know. Russian authorities have confirmed that the ship is not registered in the Russian ship register. The nationality papers, which Nemansky showed, were also described as fake by the Russian side,” said coastguard spokesman, Mike Olansan.
