Newborn girl survives train fall

In India, a newborn baby, prematurely born in the toilet of a moving train, had the worst possible start in life.
She fell through the toilet and onto the tracks – as her mother fell unconscious shortly after delivery.
Relatives of the mother pulled the train's emergency brake and a search was organised. Guards at one of the stations the train had passed found the baby.
The newborn survived for around two hours before being found and is now being treated by doctors.
