Nurse strangled in escape from psycho ward

Three servicemen undergoing treatment, have broken out of a psychiatric clinic in the Moscow region, strangling a nurse to death during their daring escape.
The men were from various military units of the Moscow region. They were receiving in-patient treatment in a psychiatric ward at a military hospital in the town of Podolsk, near Moscow. The escape occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The trio are reported to have attacked a 53-year-old nurse, strangling her to death. They seized a set of keys and fled the institution.
One of the servicemen, identified as as Private Aleksey Smirnov, was later arrested at Paveletsky railway station in Moscow. The other two are still at large.
A criminal case has been launched and military prosecutors are to inspect the medical facility.
