Olympic celebrations in Sochi

The world is marking Olympic Day, as Russia awaits the International Olympic Committee's decision on the host of the 2014 winter games. Russia's resort town of Sochi is one of three cities vying for the honour.
In Sochi, various contests, marathons and championships are being held to celebrate Olympic Day. Among the participants are not only local residents, but also tourists and vacationers, since it's a high season in Sochi.
The International Olympic Committee will name the chosen winner of the three-way race at an assembly in Guatemala City on July 4.
Sochi is competing against the Austrian city of Salzburg and South Korea's Pyeongchang.
