One man shot dead, three injured in southern Russia

Gunmen opened fire on the men from a passing car

One Russian-speaking man has been shot dead, and three injured in the Republic of Ingushetia in southern Russia, according to the RIA Novosti news agency.

Gunmen opened fire on the men from a passing car near the broadcast tower in the centre of Nazran.

Police are currently searching for the gunmen and trying to identify the dead man.

Investigators say they're looking into the possiblity it's linked to a feud between rival telecom companies.
