Police boss killed in Russia's south

The head of the local transportation police has been killed in the Southern Russian republic of Ingushetia. Lieutenant Colonel Arapkhanov died in hospital after being attacked near his house in the region bordering Chechnya. A search for the gunmen is un
Local police say it is not the first attempt on his life.
Arapkhanov was known for his active fight against crime and his murder could be in revenge.
And in a separate incident on Wednesday night a group of gunmen killed another police officer in the nearby republic of Dagestan.
