Politics ruled out in Dagestani reporter’s murder

According to Tajikistan's Interior Ministry, the murder of Russian TV-journalist Ilyas Shurpayev's was not related to his profession.
The reporter was found dead in his Moscow apartment last week.
In a statement to police, the main suspect Yatimov said, he knew Shurpayev and was invited to his home on several occasions.
Yatimov says they tried to rob the journalist but he put up a struggle.
Russian and Tajik investigators are now checking Yatimov's version of events.
