The role of social media in life today is difficult to overestimate and its permissiveness is sometimes overwhelming. RT’s Lori “The Resident” Harfenist asks New Yorkers what they think about social networks’ influence on their lives.

I'm always asking, "Why NYC?" These guys have nothing to do with America. More than half the people interviewed were foreigners...Brits I think....In any case, New Yorkers are the masters of 'rude'...They were the rudest & the most predatory Americans long before the invention of social media....and now they are complaining about social media etiquette ??  These people change image trends the way most people change socks.
